TechMRT Accepted into Council of University Transportation Centers

TechMRT is pleased to announce its acceptance into the Council of University Transportation Centers (CUTC). CUTC is the national organization dedicated to improve transportation research and education, share information on transportation research programs, and provide representation of its membership to federal and other funding organizations. Currently, almost 80 university transportation centers belong to CUTC.  Entrance into this prestigious group greatly elevates TechMRT’s visibility within the transportation research community and will undoubtedly lead to greater opportunities for TechMRT and its researchers.

Dr. Hongchao Liu Appointed to TRB Committee

Dr. Hongchao Liu was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Commitee on Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Computing Applications of the Transportation Research Board (TRB). TRB is a division of the National Research Council, a private, nonprofit institution that provides expertise in science and technology to the governmnet, the public, and the science and engineering communities. The NRC is jointly administered by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the Institute of Medicine.
