TechMRT's research in the area of geotechnical engineering has ranged from the study of expansive soils, pavements and foundations to earth retention systems, bridge foundations and approaches, as well as highway drainage sytems. TechMRT researchers conduct regular short courses in Geothechnical Engineering for Roadways and Geotechnical Applications for Transportation Projects.
